About Us – button knit

Hi! I'm Carolyn, and along with Julia and Tina we run Button knit a wool and haberdashery shop in New Street, St. Neots, Cambridgeshire.

Button Knit has risen from the ashes of the old Barretts department store. We did not want to lose a wool shop in the town, so with my redundancy I bought all the stock and now rent space from my former employer.

We have a huge selection of yarns, haberdashery, also cotton fabrics, greetings cards and a small gift range. We attract customers from far and wide, especially to our fortnightly Crochet Clubs. We love our cosy shop and intend being here for many years to come.
